| When clients come to my office what are they looking for?
They come in and say "I'm looking for a 'bookkeeper' or 'accountant' when
really what they need is a consultant. Accountants have been told over and over in
the past few years that we are going to have to wide our area of expertise in order to
adequately serve our clients' growing needs. I see the advertisement on television
for 'Anderson Consulting'. What areas do my clients need help in? Well, they
do need my expertise in the traditional areas of accounting and taxes. But they also
need assistance in the field of personal relations, start ups and just plain trying to
figure out what it is that is going on around them and happening to them. This is what this toolbox is about. It is designed to be dynamic and as we learn to use these tools, we will be thrilled to see how they can improve our lives, both inside the office, and in our everyday life. Taxes affect approx. 20% of a persons life. I have been having an impact on about 20% of the life of a typical person that I interact with. For me, this is not enough. I want to have an impact on 100% of the people I interact with. |
