Quality Travel Service

Presents

Here are some basic rules that we think
will serve you well when traveling

1.     Don’t check your bags.  Sometimes you need to carry too much to ‘carry on’. . .if you don’t have to travel quite so ‘heavy’, don’t.

2.     Never accept a situation that presents itself just as it is until you have given it some independent thought and/or gotten additional input.

3.     Remember that all questions have answers, and that the quality of our lives is dependant on the questions that we ask.

*  Travel is about getting from point A to point B
in the way you would most like to get there.

*  Usually, your main priority is to keep the amount of
elapsed time to the minimum amount possible.

Here are some things that tend to stretch time en route:

1.  Weather

2.  Equipment

3.  Airline Staff Problems

4.  Airline Schedules

If you are in the airport waiting for whatever reason for your plane, consider going to a competing airline and asking if there is anything that they can do to help you.  You would be surprised how often they will be willing to take your ticket.  Why would they take your ticket?  Two such reasons given to me by airline personnel are:

a)  "If we take your ticket, we get paid"
b)  “If we get paid, they don’t”

This may even work if you want to fly at a different time that is stated on your ticket.  Keep in mind that these alternatives are all going to be ‘standby’ and at the pleasure of the other airline, but I believe that this technique can produce some very good results.
